Exclusive cosmetics & mount, similar but not exactly the same as 5th Anniversary loyalty cosmetics, now available for a limited time from May 11 to May 24, 2012.
These cosmetics and mount are slightly more ornate than the 4-year loyalty cosmetics.

Update 7: Mystery and Rift

Update 7 went live on Bullroarer yesterday and as usual I had to take a look and see if anything cosmetically interesting is happening for Update 7. The good news is: YES THERE IS!!
I guess the best cosmetic news for myself (and I believe many others) is that all raid gear from the Rift will be available at the Cosmetics vendor. Just like the Annuminas and the Helegrod sets, they will cost 547 marks and 33 medals per piece. However a slight change is coming to these raid cosmetics: as of Update 7 they will be Bound to Account. This is valid for all Annuminas, Helegrod and Rift pieces, so you won’t be able to pass them on to someone else anymore. The regular cosmetics remain Bind on Equip.

Annúminas cosmetics in the store

The Annumínas Cosmetics that we’ve seen previously on the Bullroarer server are now available in the Lotro Store for a limited time.
These same cosmetic items are also available at the Skirmish Camp Cosmetic Vendor, but if you do not want to spend the marks and medallions, getting these from the Store is now a good alternative.
These cosmetics are available for one week only: April 13th – April 26th.

In case you still have Wardrobe Space available for purchase (I definitely don’t), it’s also on sale this week for a -20% discount.

1st Anniversary of Cosmetic Lotro

I find it hard to believe but today is the 1st Anniversary of my blog! A good moment to look back on my first year of creating outfits for my characters in the Lord of the Rings Online.

When I started getting seriously interested in the possibilities of outfitting, the Wardrobe function had just been introduced by Turbine a few months prior. Even though the Wardrobe was more restricted than it is today, it opened up a whole new world of playing around with my characters. Looking for outfits and information on the internet, I stumbled upon Devonna’s blog Lotro Stylist, and decided that blogging about outfits would be a great way for myself to express my creativity in this area. Rather than posting guest outfits on her blog, I started my own. One thing led to the next and before I knew it I found myself creating new outfits all the time.

I’d like to look back through my archives and highlight some personal favorites of the past 12 months, sharing some comments and insights as I progressed through this outfitting adventure.
