If you didn’t manage to collect the 1000 Buried Treasure Tokens that were needed for the Harvest-brew Goat last weekend at the Treasure Hunt event, then here’s your chance to get a mount outfitted with the same tack! I think the idea is very nice, to make both a goat and a horse with the same theme, but I’m sad that the goat is only available through the rigorous grind of the Treasure Hunt that has to be completed in the short span of 3 days, and is not available at this Festival. Also, I’m not crazy about yet another Festival mount with that dull pale skin colour. Still, the horse or pony will be nice for some. At least this Festival it’s not an all “feminine” horse as so many guys complained about last Spring. The horse has two different sides, one with beer mugs and the other with a saddle bag. The tack has runes inscribed on the front side that some players think translate to “Westphal”, referencing an area in Germany with certain beer brewing traditions. Correct me if I’m wrong as all this is only forum speculation.
The Harvest-brew Steed costs 2 Race Tokens + 60 Fall Festival Tokens. It has +62% speed and 200 morale.
hmmm separate parts, looks like this will translate over to warsteeds….? I’d forgive the plain horse for that.

Feminine or masculine, the designs for the steeds are always wonderful! I personally love the pale skin colors…then again, most of my characters are indeed pale or have lighter colored hair.
Is it just me or does the gear not seem well-integrated into the mount? Looks very low-res comparatively. The quality of these steeds varies so much sometimes.
Yeah I agree with you. I thought something was wrong with my settings but then the rest of the shot looks sharp. The goat didn’t have that problem, everything looked high res. Weird…
Unfortunately that’s the sort of thing that would drive me crazy
But in some ways it’s a good thing as far as my time goes. I need a way filter out the mounts I don’t need badly.

Armor and Beer. I might actually participate in this festival!
I personally would prefer it without the barrel, but the armour on it looks nice. It certainly is the pretzel festival.
I notice it now costs 60 tokens, which is an increase on previous ones that requred 40 for the new horse and 20 for the previous year’s horse. I wonder why they’ve changed that again?
Well you can get tokens a lot faster during this festival. Ive never done any of these events and just casually playing and doing other misc things in between I got more than 60 quite easily in less than 4 hours…Im sure it’d of been half that if I was actually focusing and going through them quicker so its not really a big deal. Also there are no timed events (i.e fishing) so things move a long much more quicker…Ive read doing the Inn or Ale Assoc. quests you can pull 66 tokens in an hour, so no big deal.

I think token-wise, the summer festival is the hardest one to do. Everything only awards one token, and they’re all dailies. There’s nothing that offers more than one except the races, and no real ‘cluster’ quests like the ones at the hedge, the yule food thing or the haunted burrow ones.
I’m just hoping they don’t make the eating contest a ‘festival ticket’ event at the yule fest
I have to admit I’m disappointed. Usually I want every single thing they have at the harvest festival, and this year I don’t like much of it. I might get this for my dwarf though. She needs a new pony.
Well, one of my hobbits was a lucky one (after loads of nagging from her side
). Sheherezi won the races and got herself this Harvest-Brew steed. I’m worried I’ve got her addicted to mounts…… She’s got the Previous Harvest math steed as well, as the Farmer’s Faire Pony and she’s very excited. She’s already hoping to be able to participate in the races wiht the Yule Festival to get another mount!
Shriya is a different story. She’s trying out the races, one won, actually. But she’s….. a bit scared. In her words: “They go so fast! And they’re so high! Will I be safe on them?” As you can tell, she’s just a bit frightened. She does like the Harvest-Brew pony’s outfit, that’s how I got her convinced to go for it with the races, but I think she might not go for any others. Oh well, at least she’ll have one pony!
