Cosmetic Lotro

Wolf hunter

The cloak in this screenshot is a particular favorite of mine, as I always wear it in at least one of my outfit slots (have six, still one to go). Some people think it’s a bit cheesy, but I like it. (Note the wolf in the background and the wolf on the cloak :) ).
The outfit is based on mostly heavy armour, but since the Dunland and Isengard quest reward armour pieces don’t look heavy at all, as they are made of leather and chainmail, I think they are quite fitting for a hunter. I even got my old Barrow-warrior’s Boots out of storage, as I think they match this chestpiece perfectly.

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.

Head: Hood of Night, umber dye (Halls of Night instance barter reward, cosmetic)

Chest : Chestpiece of the Charging Stag, olive dye (Dunland quest reward, heavy)

Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Stoic Stag, olive dye (Dunland quest reward, heavy)

Hands: Heavy Plated Dunlending Gauntlets, umber dye (Dunland quest reward, heavy)

Feet: Barrow-warrior’s Boots, umber dye (Great Barrows instance barter reward, heavy)

Back: Cloak of the Mountain Wolves, olive dye (store exclusive cosmetic)

It’s the awesome ‘three wolf moon’ cloak! :D Fear its power!

I like the chest piece. My minstrel has it in indigo :) The boots go very well with it. I think I might have to go do GB for those :D

I quite like how even the ‘shorter’ chest pieces in RoI are coming with built in legs in a lot of cases. One less thing to worry about matching :)

I just bought the last ten wardrobe slots in the recent sale. :) I have five outfit slots and my armour slot on each character. I’ve thought about getting the other ones but decided not to because they don’t show when other people inspect you.
