Companion

Some company on your adventures is the best way to face the dangers of Middle Earth. Loremasters never go it alone as they always have their animal companions to come along. My loremaster is a long ways away from Dunland still, but she can already wear the latest Isengard fashion thanks to the wonders of the wardrobe!

This is a foot length robe which opens at the front. The design is slightly different when worn by a male character as the males have the belt inside with a buckle instead of a long belt tied around the waist.

I am having a hard time matching the “old world” cloaks with the new Isengard armour style. The store exclusive cloaks seem too “unrealistic” and the old crafted and dropped cloaks seem to lack detail in comparison. The older cloaks have different transparent hues when dyed so sometimes colours clash with the new Isengard armour that mostly dyes in solid colours. The new Dunland cloaks (rewards and crafted) seem to lack a certain degree of refinement. They are well designed and have nice themes but do not always seem to match my armour. Even though a cloak would look nice on this outfit, I haven’t found one that suits me so far.

Chest: Robe of the Learned Stag, crimson dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Head: Padded Hat of the Dunland Soothsayer, crimson dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Shoulders: Padded Mantle of the Learned Stag, crimson dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Hands: Leather Bracers of the Gentle Stag, crimson dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Feet: Embroidered Shoes of the Dunland Healer, crimson dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

  1. The fox does match well, he is a cute little fox. This is an amazing outfit to, Have you tried the cloak of the ancient ruins or the same style as the wardens wrap cloak that you can buy if you are kindred with the wardens of annuminas? I am using those two right now with the dunland armour and it looks pretty great.

    • Hello Hammino, thank you for your suggestions! I have both cloaks (albeit the Defender’s cloak without the hood) but neither of them matches with this robe. The Defender’s has too much blue and the Warden’s wrap has a bright white pattern, neither of which match the tones of the robe, at least not dyed crimson like it is here. I have found a nice cloak but it is more of a battle/male cloak, so I’m still looking! :)

  2. Try out “Hammer Mark Cloak” it dyes solid and clips well with the shoulders (it appears to look like the cloak ist wrapped around the shoulders and hold together with a brooch at the front, as like as cloaks normaly worn. Not just sticked to the shoulders.)

      • Hammer Mark Cloak is an “old world” item droped in carn dum and urugarth. You can optain it at the skirmish vendor (with another name (i quess it’s called “cloak of the verteran squire” i don’t play with an english client, you can optain it at level 40 and 47) but the same style), and one yellow world drop around level 40/50 called “cloak of faith” which sometimes has the same skin.
I’m convinced you know it, it clips well with several shoulder parts:

Left side “Padded Mantle of the Learned Stag”, right side ministrel shoulders, old 60 pvmp set, rank 3.

I like the colours you’ve used here, and that floppy hat is cute. :)

I didn’t realise that this robe had a different appearance on boys to girls. I was wondering what the ‘other’ cloak was that I could see around :D Now I know I only need one wardrobe slot for two different appearances. ;)

Now I just need to find a fox. My LM pet doesn’t look like that. :)
