Cosmetic Lotro

Fluffing feathers

Friday was an excellent day for adding some dire needed fluff to my overflowing vaultspace. As all the cloaks in the Lotro Store were half price I managed to add six more to my collection, and even went so far as to buying the latest in Lotro fasion: the Robe of Leisure. The new line of robes does not allow for as much customization as their shorter predecessors, but they are still better than dresses, for they allow visibility of gloves and shoes. The Swan-cloak had been on my wish list for a long time, so I finally got my hands on it.  But when I also checked out the two new hats with plumage that are available, I was very disappointed by their dark shade which doesn’t allow for lighter colours to show. So despite their beautiful design, I decided to use my old brimmed hat with this outfit.

Head: Slóthi’s hat, rust dye (same model as any other brimmed hat)

Chest: Robe of Leisure, sienna dye

Shoulders: Dwarf Cloth Shoulder Pads, white dye

Hands: Leather Gloves of Vigour, white dye

Feet: Tawarwaith Shoes of Power, rust dye (you can only see the points sticking out)

Back: Swan-cloak, sienna dye

I dyed this Ered Luin Blue and wear it with the hoodless yule cloak dyed the same colour, a circlet of men (matching blue stone), and the extravagent yule gloves dyed black. My male captain looks surprisingly good in a robe. :) The only thing I don’t like about this is the way boots/shoes don’t mesh properly with it. My captain is currently going Hobbit style. :D

The dark blue works well on it, and he doesn’t look too bad. It’s regal-looking. Especially with his tiara ;)
